Simon de Senlis Chapel Northampton played host to a very special event on Wednesday 2nd September 2026

The Prior (Sir Michael of Eaton Ford) and Worthy Master (Sir John of Eastrea) of Simon de Senlis Chapel No 108 opened the Chapel in due form and then the Chapel received the RWGP for the Province of the South Midlands Sir Keith of Waenbelburgh who received salutations due to his rank

The Chapel then received the Most Worthy Grand Master Sir Philip of Hamilton, and he too received salutations due to his exalted rank

The Most Worthy Grand Master then proceeded to install the Rt Worthy Grand Preceptor Sir Felipe of Macuco as the RWGP of the Province of South America

Sir Felipe was also then proclaimed and saluted

Not content with all that business, the Chapel then went on to admit a new Sir Knight Lee Freeman

The Most Worthy Grand Master Sir Philip of Hamilton was also made an Honorary Member of the Chapel

The MWGM also surprised Sir Nigel of Kolossi and honoured him with a field promotion as Past Grand Herald
